Today's photo of the week was taken by Elizabeth Bradshaw while she was visiting the North Carolina Zoo with her family. She calls this photo "The King." 

Here is what she had to say about the photograph:

"I loved the way the lion was posed on this rock; it was just too perfect of a shot I couldn't resist. I'm an aspiring photographer and took this photo using the Canon T5I. The lens I used was a Canon EF 70mm-200mm f2.8L IS USM lens."
